Project Mc2 aims to get young girls involved in science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM), using the strapline “Smart is the new cool”. To create buzz around the new H20 Nail Kit, appealing to tweens and teenagers, we activated an influencer campaign to generate social media engagement.
The team identified high reaching instagrammers with a passion for nail art and secured partnerships with @n3wbie_nails and @nailabilityuk, who then reviewed the product, pushed out on their social media channels and ran competitions for their followers to win product.
The influencers showed their followers how to correctly use the product and used their channels to show off their amazing results.
In all, this low budget activity reached over 15,000 people and all three social media channels saw an organic increase in following as a result.
