We Helped Little Tikes Give Back

This month, we wanted to spread happiness and positivity so we worked with Little Tikes to give back to the community. Asking fans to nominate great children’s causes to win bundles of Little Tikes toys, we received an incredible 3.9k nominations covering everything from community groups, preschools, NHS charities and fantastic play groups who go the extra mile.

Bluedot Announcements

First up was the expanded family programme and science headliners, which included the pioneering astronaut Tim Peake! The festival, which takes place at Jodrell Bank is excited to welcome Tim, who has made an incredible 3,000 orbits around the Earth.

Festival Director Ben Robinson said:

"After a two-year hiatus, our fifth instalment of bluedot looks set to be one of our best yet. Welcoming Tim Peake to Jodrell Bank to excite and inspire families under the Lovell Telescope is going to be really special. Tim has lived the dreams of so many of our visitors, young and old, and we're delighted that he'll be here.”

This news secured coverage in key regional titles such as Liverpool Echo and Cheshire Live.

The second helping of coverage was from the third wave of artist announcements for the award-winning festival - grime artist, and MOBO nominee, Kojey Radical joined the lineup alongside Bjork and the Halle Orchestra. Hawksmoor and Stockport favourite Where The Light Gets In also joined the food line-up in a move that helped secure regional coverage with Manchester’s Finest and Manchester Evening News.

A personal highlight for Chloe was the Box On The Docks event at MediaCity - it was her first in-person work event and was a fantastic night attended by the BBC and Manchester Evening News.
