Following the success of previous L.O.L. Surprise! events, we wanted to create an extraordinary event to continue the craze and leave 2023 with a bang! The objectives were to create a fun, engaging and free of charge event for fans, showcase the newest product launches and generate national and regional coverage in press and on social media.
With activities centred around children celebrating their personality and characteristics, guests were treated to face-paint makeovers, a mega ball pit, interactive product demonstrations, plus one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. For the first time, fans were also able to take part in the meet and greet with the L.O.L. Surprise! Lady Diva costume character.
Guests at the event were able to see the leading toy brand’s latest product ranges on display including L.O.L. Surprise! Surprise Swap range, Magic Flyers, Squish Sand, Loves Mini Sweets x Haribo, and the Mega Ball Magic playset.
The event proved extremely successful, with pre-booked tickets selling out in just under 48 hours, over 3,000 visitors, celebrity attendance from Caroline Thomas and Emma McVey, and glowing customer feedback praising L.O.L. Surprise! for hosting a free of charge event considering the current economic climate.
The total reach across press and influencers who attended and reported on the event was over 70 million across 34 total pieces of coverage.
