We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Executive to join Carousel. You’ll work with a team to manage clients across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, from planning and content creation through to reporting and community management.
You’ll keep your finger firmly on the pulse of social platform trends so we’re always ahead of what’s next.
This role may occasionally involve attending out-of-hours events and traveling to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and schedule monthly content calendars aligned to each brand
- Draft concepts and briefs for video/stills content shoots
- Attend shoots, film content, and edit ready for Instagram Reels/TikTok
- Own platform scheduling and community management
- Identify trends and opportunities, and implement them into content strategies
- Analyse performance and create reports
- Attend and present on client calls
What we’re looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in a Social Media role, agency-side experience preferred
- Natural writer with an eye for detail and flair for drafting compelling copy
- Well organised and able to balance priorities
- Ability to create video content suitable for Instagram reels and TikTok
- Basic understanding of reporting and confident using analytical tools
- Creative thinker
- Good understanding of social media channels and the specifics of how to meet each objective (e.g. reach, engagement, traffic)
- Basic editing skills and experience using Canva, CapCut and Adobe
- Keen interest in social and the ability to spot trends

- Knowledge of paid social advertising formats
