Carousel has been appointed to lead the public relations and influencer strategy for Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, one of the UK’s most anticipated luxury resort openings, ahead of its launch following a landmark £90 million transformation.
The newest property from Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the global luxury brand and part of the world-leading hospitality group Accor, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere will officially open on 10 July 2026. Set within 157 acres of Cheshire countryside, with breathtaking views over The Mere lake, the resort is poised to redefine luxury hospitality in the North West. The opening marks the brand’s fourth hotel opening in the UK alongside: The Savoy, A Fairmont Hotel, Fairmont Windsor Park and Fairmont St Andrews.


Designed as a destination in its own right, the resort will feature 116 beautifully appointed bedrooms including 23 spacious suites alongside an exceptional collection of dining experiences including Gordon Ramsay at The Mere. Guests will also enjoy elevated wellness experiences at Fairmont Spa, along with an 18-hole championship golf course, creating a fully integrated luxury destination.
Carousel will work closely with Fairmont’s global brand marketing team and local hotel marketing team to deliver an integrated PR, influencer marketing, and events programme to firmly establish Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere as a leading luxury destination for international, national and regional audiences.
