Margarita McGrath

Margarita joined us as a Senior Social Media Executive in 2019 from a digital marketing background and is now one of our Social Media Directors. She has 7 years’ experience and a 1st class degree in Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management.

Margarita (Mags) ensures that she is always up to date with current social trends, and her current portfolio includes Paddington, The Municipal Hotel, Trafford Palazzo, leading toy brands for MGA Entertainment, such as Rainbow High, L.O.L. Surprise! and retail brand Metquarter.

Working with the nation’s most iconic bear, Paddington, Mags won the ‘Best use of Social Media for Entertainment’ at the Global Social Media Awards 2023 for the campaign ‘A Royal Visit’ featuring Queen Elizabeth II. The team also won the ‘Social Media Content Campaign of the Year’ at the UK Content Awards 2021 for the #PawsWithPaddington campaign.

As part of the L.O.L Surprise! team, Mags secured the ‘Best use of Instagram’ award for the L.O.L Surprise! Travel Campaign and was individually nominated for the ‘Mark Hanson’ award, recognising the brightest and most promising social media communicator at the 2022 UK Social Media Awards.

She also worked with Naomi Cleaver, an interior design specialist, to build a name for her business and brand across social media as well as the world-renowned shopping and leisure centre, The Trafford Centre.

In her spare time, you will find Mags enjoying musicals, supporting her home football club Liverpool, and exploring the best Greek islands.
