Bluedot Enters Its Fourth Year And Celebrates The 50th Anniversary Of The Moon Landing

With just under six months to go, preparations are well underway for the fourth instalment of bluedot festival. Held at the iconic Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire, this year the festival celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Influential German act Kraftwerk were the first headliner to be announced – followed by one of the most important electronic groups of all time, New Order, who will celebrate a homecoming festival performance on the Sunday night. Electro group Hot Chip complete the trio of headliners and will head the bill on Friday.

Carousel have already secured over 100 pieces of coverage for the 2019 instalment of the festival in the likes of the i, NME, Time Out and The Quietus – in addition to securing media partnerships with key press including Mixmag, Crack, BBC Science Focus and BBC Sky at Night. The campaign will also include working with key blogger ambassadors, placing VIP competitions, national and regional new stories and announcements, plus a busy onsite press office during the event itself.

With an incredible musical line up and plenty of exciting announcements to come, it is set to be the best year yet!
