Carousel’s festival team announced the first wave of artists for the UK’s most intergalactic festival.

Starting the new year with a big bang bluedot - the multi award-winning carnival of music, science and cosmic culture - revealed the first wave of artists joining the already announced Max Richter and the BBC Concert Orchestra for this year’s out of this world lineup . Leading 2023’s billing is the iconic Grace Jones who’ll bring her unique blend of music, arts and high fashion to Cheshire. Also topping this year’s bill in a UK festival exclusive will be lo-fi pioneers and indie legends Pavement and electro-pop legend Roisin Murphy.

Carousel was tasked with announcing this year’s stellar lineup and secure high-calibre coverage driving local and national awareness for the festival ahead of tickets going on sale. To achieve this Carousel delved into our black book of press contacts issuing the announcement to national, regional, music and science media.

To stoke the regional fire for bluedot’s lineup announcement, the festival hosted a launch party at Manchester’s iconic Band On The Wall and Carousel was on hand to ensure the city’s media, movers and shakers were in attendance to celebrate with the team while enjoying drinks, canapes, DJ sets and a special introduction to this year’s event by bluedot’s Director Ben Robinson.
