Carousel has been appointed by leading lighting and ecommerce retailer Lights4fun after a competitive three-way pitch.
The Manchester-based creative communications agency has been chosen to lead on public relations, influencer marketing and events activity, with a focus on maximising the seasonal relevancy of Lights4fun’s extensive product portfolio.
Lights4fun, which launched in 2003 and is backed by private equity firm NorthEdge, has grown into Europe’s leading online decorative lighting brand.
Carousel’s remit will see the agency mix traditional consumer and trade press office, with tactical digital PR strategy, paid and free of charge influencer marketing, as well as seasonal press, influencer and consumer events.
Nikita Norman, Marketing Manager at Lights4fun said: “The Carousel team really inspired us with their creative and strategic brand-building capabilities, as well as their ability to deliver activity that would support our ecommerce requirements across organic and branded search. We’re all really energised to have them on board.”
Tom Cummings, Deputy Managing Director at Carousel said: “We love working with culturally interesting brands and businesses and Lights4fun certainly fits that mould – lighting has a significant role in everyone’s lives and that means there’s lots of exciting ways for us to connect with target audiences. It’s a business that puts the customer experience first through inspiring design, significant attention to detail, and considered sourcing, and that’s a story we’re looking forward to telling.”
