Festival No.6 Collaborates with Tate Britain for a Unique Mini Festival

Last Friday (3 March, 2017), Festival No.6 and Tate Britain hosted a unique mini-festival of arts, culture and music, inside the iconic gallery.

The one off evening included live music from Blossoms, who headlined the evening with a very special live set in the grand neo-classical Duveen galleries, accompanied by No.6 Composer-in-residence Joe Duddell and the No.6 ensemble, along with other musical performances from Charlotte Church, who created a special show for the evening with the No.6 Ensemble and legendary DJ and No.6 resident, Greg Wilson.

Other activity included poetry from John Cooper Clarke, comedy from Sarah Pascoe and pop-up theatre performers across the gallery. Guests also gained exclusive evening access to Tate Britain’s major David Hockney retrospective.

Carousel secured fantastic national and regional pre-event coverage including: The Times, The Guardian, Sheerluxe, Evening Standard, The Nudge, Metro, 6 Music, Time Out plus many more, and resulted in a sold out event.
