Kicking Off Festival Season With Bearded Theory

Nestled in the heart of the National Forest in Derbyshire, Bearded Theory is a multi-award winning creative and performing arts festival - check out how Carousel helped bring back the magic of festival season.

After two years of cancellations and disappointment , 2022 sees the triumphant return of a jam-packed festival season, and first up was Bearded Theory.

Joining our roster of world-leading festival and events clients our objectives for Bearded Theory were to secure high quality coverage across key national and regional titles, to drive ticket sales, to position Bearded Theory as one of the UK’s best festivals and to secure press and influencers attendance.

Ahead of the festival, Carousel ran a full press office function, which included strategic announcements, securing listings, influencer liaison, media accreditation and artist liaison.

Artist announcements delivered excitement and anticipation for the event, with standalone releases for alt-rock pioneers Placebo, Patti Smith, Flaming Lips, The Hives and Frank Turner, all helping to drive nationwide and regional coverage. Coverage highlights included NME, Kerrang & The Derbyshire Times.

In total, the team achieved 115 pieces of coverage for the campaign providing a total reach of 172 million.
