Manchester Science Festival Gets Off to a 'Happy' Start

On Thursday night, the Carousel team donned their glad rags for the launch of the Manchester Science Festival at the Museum of Science and Industry.

The event got off to a bang as Happy Mondays’ star Bez revealed a 3D print out of his own head.

BBC Radio 6 Music’s Chris Hawkin got the party started with a DJ set before passing the mantle onto Elbow’s Craig Potter and Pete Turner.

Local beers, pies and delicious Eccles cakes were on hand to keep the hundreds of revellers dancing.

The Manchester Science Festival runs from 23 October to 2 November. Head to www.manchestersciencefestival.com for more info or check out #MSF14
