Moda Build-to-Rent Coming to Birmingham

Luxury property group Moda has appointed Carousel to lead on PR strategy as it opens the door to its newest development, The Mercian in Birmingham in 2022.

Carousel’s role will be to lead a strategic and proactive press office to generate awareness of Moda Birimingham, The Mercian and highlight it as the city's newest and most sought after build-to-rent apartment building. This will focus on regional media and influencers, driving coverage, influencer engagement, ongoing activations and a creative launch event inline with the building launch early next year.

Moda, The Mercian will launch on Broad Street in Birmingham city centre in 2022, located on the former site of the celebrated nightclub - ‘The Click Club at Burberries’. As Birmingham’s tallest residential tower, The Mercian will be a local landmark that knits itself into the fabric of the city as a destination the local population can be proud of.

Designed by Birmingham-based Glenn Howells Architects and delivered by Sisk, The Mercian will be home to 481 apartments for rent, ranging from studios to three-beds, with a raft of unparalleled amenities, including 24-hour concierge, shared lounges, flexible workspaces and a cinema room and private dining spaces for residents to hire.

On track to complete in 2022, The Mercian will also provide residents with quality health and wellness zones, including a 200m podium open-air running track on the roof and high-spec residents’ gym, as well as a host of partnerships and services from local health and wellness brands across Birmingham.

Abbie Mattingley, Account Director at Carousel, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Moda to launch another of their state of the art developments to bring Moda, The Mercian to Birmingham. We’re looking forward to drawing from our extensive experience working within property to build an impactful campaign.”

Moda, The Mercian is the latest addition to Carousel’s property portfolio, which includes Bruntwood, Moda Angel Gardens, Moda The Lexington, The McEwan in Edinburgh, and Moda New York Square in Leeds.
