Know your Brie from your Reblochon, your Cote de Rhone from your Beaujolais? Last weekend saw Carousel heading to the UK’s biggest celebration of all things French – The France Show 2018.
Taking place at Olympia London on 26 – 28 January this year’s show brought together all we love about France – food, wine, idyllic properties, holiday ideas, travel offers and entertainment, all under one roof.
Visitors enjoyed cookery demonstrations from Michelin starred chef Daniel Galmiche, celebrity patissier Eric Lanlard as well as Jean Marc Carelle, Franck Raymond and Christine Vidal. We also welcomed actress and author Celia Imrie and celebrated crime writer Peter May to the Flavours of France stage.
There was delicious food to explore in the French market, some great French music, and a range of fine wines to taste in the Wine Theatre – not forgetting great holiday ideas, language tips and travel advice from the wide-ranging exhibitors
The French Property Exhibition also hosted hugely popular daily seminars on all aspects of buying and living in France, visitors browsed thousands of properties for sale, met property experts, and gained valuable advice from French banking experts. It was truly a one-stop shop for anyone thinking of purchasing in France.
As well as confirming pre-event coverage including print and online interview features, what’s on event inclusions and competitions, throughout the weekend Carousel successfully hosted over 60 journalists from both sides of the channel, securing on-site interview opportunities for both the exhibitors and show organisers.
