Roald Dahl at Tatton Park

Tatton Park is a historic estate in Cheshire, containing a mansion, manor house, gardens, and a deer park, the National Trust site attracts families from across to UK to its treasured grounds.

The Brief

Generate coverage, both nationally and regionally, to drive ticket sales and footfall to its multi-event campaign which celebrated 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl.

Our Response

Carousel worked with the Cheshire East marketing team to issue press releases for all main events taking place throughout the year, leading to multiple interviews on TV and radio, national print and online, regional print and online, and blogger coverage.

Planned and executed a media day to coincide with the Ruby Barnhill appearance within the BFG Garden at the RHS Flower show.

Arranged multiple photo call moments for local press including a stunt with a ‘Snozzcumber’ prop.

Recruited 25 local blogger ambassadors to support the campaign throughout the year, sharing event news, visit reviews, competitions and providing social media support.
